Our Practice

Dr. Goldberg created this practice with a clear objective in mind: to establish the premier center for the treatment of functional jaw issues in the nation.  Our patients have access to the most educated, committed, and compassionate team of professionals in the field, using the most current technology and techniques.

Our team includes our licensed dental hygienist Alyx, two certified dental assistants Leslie and Chantelle (Chantelle is also a nurse, and Leslie is on faculty in the TMJ center at the dental school), a lab technician Austin, in addition to our physical therapy and nutritionist partners on site.  Our administrative team, including Rachel, Nicole and Lisa are experienced in handling medical and dental insurance for our specialized services, and work hard to ensure that our patients have access to the care they need.

We want your experience to be comfortable from the moment you choose to contact us.  Our greatest compliment is when you feel confident recommending us to a friend or family member.

Jeffrey I. Goldberg DDS MS MBA

Dr. Jeffrey Goldberg lives in Williamsville, NY, with his wife Melissa and their two daughters Madelyn and Bennett. Originally from Rochester, he graduated from Cornell University in 1999, and from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2003. Dr. Goldberg then completed a general practice residency at the Veterans’ Affairs Hospital in Baltimore, MD, where he received advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, root canals, and treatment for medically complex individuals. After several years in practice, Dr. Goldberg returned to the dental school to complete a three-year residency and master’s degree in TMJ disorders and orofacial pain.

Buffalo is one of only five such   programs in the nation to be accredited by the American Dental Association.   For his thesis he investigated the association of chronic facial pain and   sleep disorders. Dr. Goldberg has also earned a masters degree in business   administration (MBA) from the University at Buffalo School of Management.

Dr. Goldberg is proud to introduce  new concepts in the treatment of chronic facial pain, jaw dysfunction, and  sleep apnea to Western New York. In addition to his practice, he is a  clinical assistant professor at the dental school, where he oversees a TMJ  clinic and is teaching the first sleep apnea curriculum in the school’s history. Dr. Goldberg is also active in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the American Dental Association. He is a board certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, painting and drawing, playing golf, and making artisanal hand crafted chocolate which he is happy to share with our patients.

While our objective is to provide you the best and most appropriate care available, we understand that financial considerations are important to our patients, and we will work with you to ensure that they do not stand in the way of your treatment. We will be happy to submit all insurance forms for you and to help you recover the most from your benefits. We are participating providers with several medical insurance companies specifically for sleep apnea and TMJ / facial pain care. General dental care will be submitted to dental insurance, and we are in-network providers for several dental insurance companies as well. Please call to speak with our administrative team about any insurance questions.

We are pleased to offer third   party financing to our patients, including Care Credit, enabling you to pay   for treatment in installments, up to one year interest-free. Forms of payment   accepted by the office include check, cash, and major credit cards.

Please understand that insurance   company policies constantly change and it is not always possible to get  accurate information. Although we do our best to work with the various  insurance companies, financial responsibility ultimately falls to the  patient.
